White Island Tour

The six-hour marine experience includes a comfortable 80-minute boat journey each way on one of our two purpose-built launches (60-foot PeeJay IV and 73-foot PeeJay V), a two hour exploration of New Zealand's only live marine volcano with White Island's most experienced and knowledgeable guides, morning tea and lunch.

The White Island Shuttle runs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday to meet with the 9.15am White Island Tour departure.

(Leaves Rotorua between 7.00am - 7.30am.)

The price for a complete return trip to White Island trip departing Rotorua and returning to Rotorua is NZ$210 per person.

WHAT TO BRING: Fully-enclosed shoes to wear on the island (no sandals or jandals allowed), a wet weather jacket, plenty of sunscreen and water, swimming gear (optional) in the summer months.

NOTES:  As our tour is weather dependant it is very important that we talk to you the night before the tour, between 7:00pm and 8:00pm, this is when we confirm the weather conditions and your pick up time.  Please advise us where you will be staying the night before the tour and your contact details.  Alternatively you can call us on our toll free number of 0800 733 529.  Either way of contact is fine, please advise us of your preferred option though. 

It is important that we receive these details as we are yet to confirm your pick up point and time for the shuttle.  The return price for the shuttle is $50.00 per person.  The total amount being $210 per person.
